THE SUKHOI SPORTJET
Sukhoi Civil Aircraft introduced a new aircraft designed to fly sports teams, SportJet by Sukhoi. It’s the first aircraft designed especially for flying professional athletes on the market.

SportJet by Sukhoi will be the third product in the range of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft alongside the Sukhoi Superjet 100 and Sukhoi Business Jet.
The SportJet is based on the expertise and technology of Sukhoi Superjet 100, enhanced by innovative medical and IT solutions developed in cooperation with sports physicians, experts and managers.

The main challenges addressed in designing the interior of SportJet by Sukhoi are favourable conditions for healthy relaxation, efficient recovery and athletic preparation during flights. The SportJet is based on
scientific and practical research in the field of sports, such as the impact of flights, jet lag, hypoxia, dehydration, stress on the body and aerophobia that affect professional athletes from various sports.

Among the potential customers SportJet by Sukhoi are national sports federations, professional sports clubs, individuals and businesses.

The SportJet will provide custom aircraft versions for professional teams in such sports as football, hockey, basketball and rugby, as well as a solution for customers from business aviation, emphasizing its ties with the sport and paying particular attention to health issues.

INTERIOR CONFIGURATIONS

42 Seats configuration

The 42 seats configuration consists of:
4 VIP seats in the Manager Zone – for the team coach staff. It’s first class compartment equipped with multi media solutions for sport analysis.
28 seats in the Team Zone – comfortable seats with integrated bio medical devices, changeable lighting and multimedia individual monitor.
Circulation & Recovery Zone – fostering natural mobility and building in equipment that ensures optimal circulation and promote healing. Equalizing the negative effects of air travel on the mind and body, and bringing the training room to 40.000 feet through in-flight bio-metrics and analysis to accelerate injury diagnostics and treatments.
10 seats in the Staff Zone – economic seats for the accompanying staff (massage, therapist, administrators, equipment manager, etc.) and places for storage of hand-luggage.

60 Seats configuration

The 60 seats configuration consists of:
6 seats in the Presidential Lounge Zone
24 seats in the Players/Team Zone
30 seats for accompanying Staff & Fans
This configuration does not include the ‘Circulation and Recovery’ Zone.
It’s advisable to use this configuration for short-range flights.

Custom configuration

The SportJet will provide custom aircraft versions for professional teams in such sports as football, hockey, basketball and rugby, as well as a solution for customers from business aviation, emphasizing its ties with the sport and paying particular attention to health issues.
